A.W. Lymn's Long Eaton office is located at Lime Grove in Long Eaton, which is in peaceful surroundings inside the cemetery gates at West Park.
The site was purchased from Dick Webb funeral service in 1981 and opened as an A. W. Lymn funeral home in June 1982.
The building was the local public mortuary and features an unusual copper roof. As well as a large reception area, the premises features family rooms, visiting rooms, funeral cars from A.W. Lymn's fleet and parking on the outside, and it was completely refurbished in 2013.
The funeral home is run by funeral director Louise Bramman and is open Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm. If you need assistance or to meet with a funeral director after hours please call the telephone number, which is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The branch covers all of Long Eaton and its surrounding area including Breaston, Castle Donington, Chilwell, Draycott, Hathern, Kegworth, Sawley, Sutton Bonnington, Toton and beyond.
Nigel Lymn Rose, along with his sister Jackie and his son Matthew, manages A. W. Lymn The Family Funeral Service, ensuring all families receive excellent care at all times.

Outstanding service from everyone we meet at Lymns. It felt like they went above and beyond for our family and helped us all the way through at such a hard time for all of us. Lesley at long Eaton was so respectful to my mum who passed away. We had never planned or thought about a funeral before but she guided us all though what happens and there services no pushing us to have the most expensive service it was always what we wanted. From the moment we first met with the funeral home until mum had her funeral they was so helpful. The respect they shown my mum was phenomenal. Her funeral was one of the hardest things I will ever had to do but Lymns made the day go with such ease. Thank you so much for helping us with one of the toughest times of our life. My father who passed away luckily had bought a prepaid funeral from lymns 13 years prior to his death . I was absolutely ecstatic with the way the funeral was managed from start to finish . The care and support of lymns staff and management was of the highest standard and they helped the process to be so much easier for all of us . Their ideas and experience helped us make the send off for my father a very special event and nearly every mourner who attended the funeral complimented me on the service and organisation on the day . I was that impressed I will use them for my own send off (not too soon I hope) but am going to put something in place soon .thank you again lymns for making this a very special day and giving dad the tribute he deserved

I was very pleased with the way Lymn at Long Eaton handled my mothers cremation arrangements. I would have given five stars apart from one error that occurred. I was most impressed with the way the issue was handled in both the speed to rectify and their communication. No apologies or trying to hide the problem, open and honest.
During the planning there was no pressure to buy the most expensive. I had said it was to be kept simple and they obliged.
I would recommend this service.

I would highly recommend A W Lymn, Louise and Lesley at the Long Eaton branch are the most kind and caring ladies and helped me every step of the way after my husband passed away very suddenly after a tragic accident, I can’t speak highly enough of them both.
