This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

From the first telephone call with Hollie, funeral assistant, and the subsequent meeting with Roy, funeral director, they reassured me that they would help me every step of the way. ( I had not organised a funeral before) Nothing was too much trouble for them. They were friendly, respectful and genuinely wanted me to have the best funeral for my dad that I could. As it turned out that was exactly what happened. If I could give them 20 stars each it would not be enough. You are lucky to have them working for your business.

Our funeral director was first rate. Firstly she cared. Then against many barriers organised and led a funeral as speedily as was possible and in a different part of the country. She and The co op really tried for us . Our FD did get to know the man Dad was and ourselves as a family. The care was very personised and appreciated. Our FD worked extremely hard and all hours to make it happen. The funeral team also worked very hard on our behalf which we are very grateful for. Its a big thankyou and recognition.
