Co-op funeral care were really lovely they were kind, compassionate and answered all my queries they done every thing i asked them to do nothing was a bother to them and they kept in touch to let me know what was happening all the time my mother in laws funeral was very dignified and I would recommend them to anyone .

Me and my family were greeted with empathy and sympathy from everyone at the coop although we were going through a traumatic time they made the process more bearable with answering our questions and knowing they were taking care of everything took the emence pressure from our shoulders and they remained in contact with us the whole time and a few days after the service.

Everyone was impressed by the presence and professionalism of Chris Foggon , the way he dealt with the whole process was exemplary. I felt I had total confidence and the family appreciated his calm and dignified manner.
In fact many people commented on actually "What a good funeral it was"
Which at the very least made me smile.

Roy, our Funeral Director, was helpful and courteous. He dealt as diplomatically as possible with the ghastly fact that, due to an employee's dementia, and my having being unable to afford a headstone, Rothbury Cemetery had lost my father's grave. My partner and I had to visit the churchyard to identify it as best we could.

On the day of the funeral itself, the funeral services performed their duties perfectly.

From the first point of contact to today, when I paid the bill and collected my husband's ashes, I can honestly say the service was exemplary. Nothing was rushed, there was no pressure to rush through choices or spend more than was affordable, and everything was explained clearly, simply and patiently. It felt as though I was their only client but I know they were actually really busy - and this was over the Christmas holiday with all the extra stress that everyone is under at that time of year, whether they are bereaved or not. They were professional, kind, considerate and patient and everyone involved worked well together to ease the inevitable grief and stresses of the occasion. I am extremely grateful to them all.

I can't praise Alnwick Funeral Care enough. From my sister's and my first meeting at the Alnwick premises, the entire funeral was handled with kindness and compassion. We were kept informed throughout. Excellent service,would highly recommend.

A totally outstanding funeral team that dealt with my two funerals within a matter of a few weeks of each one guided by Claire exceptional service that goes beyond the normal funeral requirements absolutely brilliant everything was left in their hands and they dealt with the funeral in a courteous sympathetic and dignified manner which puts them in a very high standard that would take some matching absolutely brilliant thank you for everything. The team from Amble and Alnwick especially Roy were first class in every way.  Roys attention to detail was amazing leaving nothing to chance.  His guidance to my nephews as pallbearer’s was so helpful they calmly did their duty to their Grandmother. We were never hurried throughout our sorrow, he calmly guided us through the day.

The duty funeral director first met with me late on a Sunday afternoon and throughout they were excellent, helpful, friendly and helped guide us through a difficult time.

From the first visit the customer service was first class. Roy from Amble went above and beyond to put our minds at rest. Talked us through all the details of the funeral ceremony and even sourced a piper for us. Cannot fault the care and dedication shown at a time of grieving.

The co-op funeral parlour in Alnwick this funeral parlour is so such a high standard with staff as well as helping with her deceased and their family the staff are exemplary in all aspects off funerals everything is taken care of and my life was made so easy to buried my mother that it was an absolute pleasure to leave everything in their hands they dealt with absolutely everything and if there was prizes to be giving out the funeral directors for service and help and and also making sure the deceased went in a highly respectable manner and looking after the family before and after the funeral then the co-op in Alnwick with definitely deserves first place without a shadow of a doubt it is a friendly and highly respected place to go I would recommend and without thinking and would never dream of going anywhere else except the co-op in Alnwick thank you so much for everything it has been very much appreciated all the best and keep the great work up as it is of such a high standard. AJ
