Established in the 1930’s by the late William Charles Littleproud, the business is now run by Paul Littleproud, the 3rd generation of the family. Paul employs an experienced and dedicated team to ensure that your loved-one’s funeral will be held in a dignified and efficient manner, no matter what your wishes may be.
Littleproud and Sons, Dereham, has built up a reputation for the quality and dignity with which they carry out their funeral service. Paul and his team of professional staff are happy to organise a range of services from a basic simple funeral to a Victorian service with horse drawn hearse, a ‘green burial’ in a woodland cemetery or a non-religious service.
The funeral home in the quiet village of Dereham is just six miles from Bradenham, Watton and Swaffham. There is a peaceful chapel of rest where you can spend time with, and say goodbye to your loved one, and there is a mortuary on site.

I would happily recommend Littleprouds. Julie was my single point of contact throughout the whole process of organising my Aunt's funeral and couldn't have been more kind or considerate. Her help and advice was invaluable and she was able to help with arrangements for the gathering afterwards. The day went without a hitch and was an amazing tribute and celebration of a long life well lived.

All the team were excellent, professional, caring, guiding Me through such a difficult time. Nothing was to much trouble, they explained everything to me and gave me time to think and process each step. From the first meeting until the last they were kind, compassionate and showed so much empathy. On the day of my Mum's funeral Julie checked with me to see if I was alright as we arrived at the crematorium. Everyone needs a Julie in their life at such a sad time, her empathy and kindness made it bearable. I will always been so thankful.
