Established in the 1930’s by the late William Charles Littleproud, the business is now run by Paul Littleproud, the 3rd generation of the family. Paul employs an experienced and dedicated team to ensure that your loved-one’s funeral will be held in a dignified and efficient manner, no matter what your wishes may be.
Littleproud and Sons, Dereham, has built up a reputation for the quality and dignity with which they carry out their funeral service. Paul and his team of professional staff are happy to organise a range of services from a basic simple funeral to a Victorian service with horse drawn hearse, a ‘green burial’ in a woodland cemetery or a non-religious service.
The funeral home in the quiet village of Dereham is just six miles from Bradenham, Watton and Swaffham. There is a peaceful chapel of rest where you can spend time with, and say goodbye to your loved one, and there is a mortuary on site.

I have chosen ‘Excellent’ because the funeral was very slick and well managed from start to finish. I was able just to wander down from my house soon after my husband’s death and meet Julie Jarvis. Julie was wonderful at helping me through the whole process at a very difficult time. On the day of the funeral all went very smoothly. The journey to the crematorium, the way we were met on arrival, the spray on the coffin and the service held by The Rev’d Canon Paul Cubitt were all excellent. Thank you Littleprouds but especially Julie.

A great professional service. Julie was very caring and understanding. From the initial meeting to discuss arrangements, right through to the funeral I was kept formed of the process. She organised everything - the crematorium, church service , flowers etc . It was so comforting to know that everything was taken care of ‘in one place’ and I didn’t have the worry of having to contact individual suppliers .I was contacted to discuss the next steps and my wishes regarding how the service would run. Her professionalism was noted by those who attended the cremation. I highly recommend Littleproud & son.
