Littleproud and Sons, Dereham, has built up a reputation for the quality and dignity with which they carry out their funeral service. Paul and his team of professional staff are happy to organise a range of services from a basic simple funeral to a Victorian service with horse drawn hearse, a ‘green burial’ in a woodland cemetery or a non-religious service.

What Families Say
AI SummaryMany families praise the care and compassion shown throughout the entire process, from the initial meeting through to the funeral day itself. Several describe how staff took time to listen to their wishes, offered thoughtful guidance through difficult decisions, and made them feel supported rather than rushed during arrangements.
Families often mention that communication was clear and reliable, with staff readily available to answer questions and keep them informed at each stage. A number note that having a single point of contact made the process less overwhelming, as one person coordinated all the various elements—from the crematorium to flowers to the service itself.
Many families comment on how smoothly the funeral day itself went, with every detail attended to and nothing left to chance. Several also note that the staff were professional and smartly presented, yet managed to combine this formality with genuine warmth and understanding at a time when families were at their most vulnerable.

Our family and I have nothing but praise for the manner in which Littleproud and Son arranged the formalities of my late husband’s funeral. Led by Paul Littleproud, all the important details were dealt with by Paul and his staff in a most dignified, sympathetic, understanding and efficient way leaving us all feeling very consoled that we were doing our best for a dearly loved husband, father and grandfather. No request or question was too small or too much trouble. Friends and family members who attended the Cremation, and the Celebration of Life Service which followed, were most impressed by how beautifully both were organised. We are very pleased to recommend Littleproud and Son and offer them our most sincere thanks.
