Standard Simple Funeral

This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

Andy Morgan & Andrea were both so helpful &comforting to myself & my family . Their knowledge & ideas about planning my sisters funeral service ,just being there for me whenever I needed them have helped myself & family get through this heartbreaking & difficult time.

Excellent service. All the staff went above and beyond what was expected of them. From Louise and Louise who took Dad away after he passed, to Andrea who could not have been more helpful, sensitive, caring and patient. Not forgetting Andy, who made everything the best it possibly could have been, whilst still being warm and approachable. I couldn’t be more satisfied all around

From our initial consultation with Andrea who guided us through the process with great empathy and understanding, to the funeral itself which was carried out in a caring and professional manner. The team gave our mother an amazing send off, for which we are extremely grateful.

I would definitely reccomend using them to bury your loved 1 Andrea was amazing nothing to much trouble for her.. they even used our dogs to walk in front of the funeral cars.

I have never had to deal with anything like this before........ And i must say that Esther had all this planned by herself she got a plan with the Co-op before she went into the care home and the Co-op came good Andrea Steadman was absolutely brilliant arranging everything for us to ours and Esther's wishes and on the Day Both Andy the Funeral Director and Sharron the minister was absolutely fantastic and 100% professional i could not thank them enough........
