I would like to share my experience and my sincere appreciation for Richard & Shannon Jenkins and, in particular, the celebrant, Clare Bennett, who conducted my late brother’s funeral.
Arranging a funeral is an incredibly difficult and emotional responsibility, especially when there are complicated family circumstances involved. Throughout the whole process, Richard & Shannon Jenkins were compassionate, professional, respectful and extremely helpful. They guided me through everything with great care and understanding at a very difficult time.




I would especially like to commend Clare Bennett. I honestly could not have asked for anyone better to conduct my brother’s funeral. Clare took the time to listen, understand my brother as a person, and make the service personal, meaningful and truly reflective of him.




Her compassion, sensitivity and professionalism were evident throughout. She handled an incredibly difficult occasion with warmth, dignity and genuine care. The service she delivered was beautiful, and I felt that she treated my brother and his memory with the utmost respect.




Clare went above and beyond to make an incredibly painful day as meaningful and dignified as possible. Her kindness and understanding meant so much to me and my family, and I will always be grateful to her.




I would wholeheartedly recommend Richard & Shannon Jenkins to anyone who finds themselves having to arrange a funeral. They provided an excellent service from start to finish, and Clare deserves particular recognition for the exceptional compassion, professionalism and care she showed throughout.

Our Family have used the funeral services of Richard and Shanon Jenkins family for every member of our family we have lost, from as far back as 1930s up until a few weeks ago when they organised my Mums funeral. From the second they came to get my mum to take into their care they were king caring and professional. At the mist difficult time in our lives they looked after Mum and her funeral was all we hoped it would be. We would like to thank everyone who cared for Mum and made one of the hardest days of my life as gentle and smooth as possible for our bereaved family.

Shannon, Richie and family have done two funerals for us in the last 18mths.  I can’t give them enough praise. Particularly for the first one when we didn’t have a clue what to do.  They were always available to answer questions.  They dealt with all the cremation and internment of ashes.  So helpful.  Mum and Dad were presented so nice when we went to see them in the funeral home.

Losing a loved one is never easy, but everyone at RJS made a painful process much more manageable. They provided exceptional care and compassion during a very difficult time for our family. The service I received from RSJ Funeral Directors was excellent.  My mum sadly passed away at home, we contacted RSJ and they were out within the hour, there was no mention of payment or deposit which at that moment in time is the last thing you want to think of, they just attended without question.
They were so professional, compassionate and guided me through the process.
Shannon did not try to sell me the most expensive funeral, and we just discussed what my mum wanted, she even explained the different options about flowers (real/silk)
My mums funeral service was just what she wanted and she had the most beautiful send off.
 I cannot thank RSJ enough and I would highly recommend.

I chose Richard and Shannon Funeral Directors for the funeral of my mum as they have conducted  family funerals for our family for the last 30 years .It is a credit to their professionalism that they have never changed in all that time in the care  and advice  they offer at a time of great distress . 
As a family we felt looked after and the advice on funeral costs and ways to keep them more economical was appreciated.
The staff work well together as a team and this is reflected in how well the funeral went on the day.
