With great Sadness this is the second time I have used Harold white in Chingford in the last 20 months the first time I couldn't believe such wonderful service and compassion second time round they have gone above and beyond to make my mum's arrangements 100% when I was falling apart they stuck me together andno problem to them was an issue. The cost is always in the back of your mind but they are very competitive and the order of service was a wow factor once again and the weaker casket with the blue edging was beautiful
This is not an easy job and especially this time of year but I know that I gave my husband and my mum the best goodbye. I would like to say a big thank you to Bernadette and Martin for making both the days special ❤️ from karon and family. X

I was so pleased with the way in which Harold White's Chingford office guided me through my husband's funeral planning from my very first meeting with them.
I should especially mention Bernadette, the office administrator, and Martin, who leads the team of drivers and pallbearers. They are very efficient but also kindly and sympathetic. Nothing was too much trouble.

I wanted a non-traditional coffin and was shown exactly what I needed, and I designed an Order of Service booklet to match it.

As I thought I would be too tearful on the day to read the eulogy I had composed detailing my husband's life and achievements, they found a wonderful celebrant in Steve Cheal to do this for me.

The funeral service was perfect in every way, just as I had planned, and this is thanks to Harold White's excellent staff.

Harold White, and in particular Tracy Evans, were fantastic - sympathetic, supportive, always available to respond to questions. They guided us through the planning process and didn't hesitate to take control of everything and sort things out with no fuss. Indeed, Tracy went the extra mile many times, e.g. personally going to the cemetery to confirm arrangements. Thoroughly and very highly recommended.

I can only thank the team for their kindness and excellent service.
My Mother was very unwell when my step father passed away. I called to discuss a funeral and explained the situation, immediately a home visit was offered.
The process was made straightforward and stress free.
On the day the team were very professional and kind. Everything went well and we can only say Thank You.
While this might be a service we have no wish to use, I can only say we were pleased we did when it was needed.

From start to finish everyone was so helpful and caring.
Tracy was so understanding and didn't leave a stone unturned, she sorted out everything we were concerned about (the music, the stationery, the smooth running arrangements for the day etc) to make us feel totally at ease.
I can't praise her enough, along with telephone conversations with Bernadette and Martin's reassurance and help on the actual day of the funeral.
I highly recommend them all.

 The hardest thing is to have to arrange a parents funeral. Bernadette is the most compassionate caring and understanding person I think I’ve ever met. She made the whole process comfortable, it’s a strange thing to say but my dad‘s funeral was beautiful and that’s all down to the service that I received at Harold White’s funeral directors.

So professional so caring and there for everything I needed literally a phone call away.

I generally Cannot recommend them enough and would like to thank everybody that dealt with my fathers funeral.

We just wanted to say a massive thank you to Bernadette for the help and support provided leading up to Dad's funeral. It went very smoothly and for that we are most grateful. And huge thanks to Martin and team for such a dignified and professional service on the day, you made everything easy for us and were so very accommodating on what is such a difficult day. Everything was a bit of a blur and it feels like you can't really think straight on the day but with Martin's reassuring nature everything was covered/handled and again went so smoothly, we couldn't have asked for more.

Harold white were so helpful when planning my grandma’s funeral.
I called them on the morning when my grandma had passed very upset and they were so nice and comforting.
They were so respectful to my lovely grandma and took great care of her

Unfortunately I've had occasion to use Harold Whites three time in the last few years - fortunately they have been amazing each and every time. The whole team is professional, helpful and eases you through the process at what is a very difficult time.
