Standard Simple Funeral

This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

Everyone at the Co-Op Funeralcare were very kind and helpful at a most difficult time when arranging the funeral. The funeral its self went well with the Funeral Director helping us feel at ease explaining what would happen and even telephoned the following day with a courtesy call.

Overall, it was a great service and I was happy with the outcome. There were a few instances where I thought they could have been more proactive and provided me with more information beforehand but aside from that the customer service was great and the funeral went well.

I was please with the service the only thing was when i went to visit my mum body her face was peeling and i wasn't too please because we pay for the inbalam,I dont know if i spelled it right sorry and the temper cross for the grave was not there that is all

This funeral took place in trying times, given the pandemic but the staff at both Peckham and Walworth were friendly, available and supportive. They organised everything we wanted, suggested a florist able to dress the coffin for a green burial and provided a timely, efficient and effective service with warmth and consideration. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Emma was a very sensitive and reassuring person throughout .

The Celebrant, Tamara, that she recommended was perfect for us and did a wonderful job.

The whole team on the day were very supportive and Paul rang me the day before to talk through our plans . It was everything we hoped it would be . Thank you .
