Standard Simple Funeral

This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

Happy with the service. Sarah was always available. Communication was very good. And cremation run smoothly. A bit disappointed with the music. I think the music system in the crematorium itself needs updating. Otherwise, all went well.

My 94 year old Aunt had requested in her will that she did not want a traditional funeral service. I had already obtained details from my local Co-op of their Direct Cremation Scheme. When the news came that my Aunt had died, I just made a phone call giving all the details. Later I received a call from Sarah from North Kensington Funeralcare who explained everything. I found the service very efficient.

Sarah and all the team at the Harrow Road Coop Funeral Care were simply amazing. The kindness, sensitivity, accommodation and organisation, in this very difficult time in our lives, was made so much easier by Sarah and her team. Mum's farewell was so very special and memorable, not least by Sarah's idea to have mum's piano recitals played at the funeral service. It made the occasion so very personal and emotionally warming, just as mummy would have wanted.

We couldn’t have wished for anyone kinder, more efficient, considerate or caring then Sarah to guide us through this emotional and difficult process.

Understanding was not considered, once the person had passed, of the financial situation of those left behind. even though all information was given. it was just a case of fake sympathy. once the person was buried. am deeply unhappy with the staff’s behaviour when speaking to them.

We were extremely happy with the service we received when making the arrangements.
If there was a concern it would appear to lack of personnel, Sarah to disappear to attend other items, for us not a great issue as there were four of us, but I feel someone on their own could be distressed by this.
But please do not let that detract from the main answer that we were more than happy with the assistance given.
It was clear and concise.
