This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

June dealt with us with upmost compassion and professionalism. Nothing was too much she lead us through everything . On the day the funeral director was kind and supportive and helped us to do what we wanted .I would highly recommend.

I can’t thank June at the co-op funeral care enough for all her help during this difficult time after my Dad passed away. She was always on hand via phone and email to answer any questions we had and took the stress away from organising everything. She guided me and my brother through the process and arranged everything amazingly so my Dad had a great send off. We are so grateful, thank you.
