Our family have used T Allen funeral directors several times now . The latest for my beloved Mum They are always very helpful and compassionate . At a very stressful and upsetting time they have being nothing but professional and assisted us through each step . I can't recommend them enough from initial contact to the pallbearers and drivers on the day they are truly amazing and compassionate people .

From my first contact with Michelle on the phone to my last contact with Mark at the crematorium, everything went so smoothly.  
They were professional but caring, friendly but respectful. 
They guided me through what we thankfully only have to organise two or three times during our own lifetime. They liaised with everyone else involved and where it was my responsibility to deal with, they advised me what to do.  
I can’t thank them enough for their help and kindness.

Very compassionate, kind and helpful during such a difficult time. With arranging the service, giving advice, sitting with my Mum in the chapel of rest and receiving my Mum's ashes. I was always made to feel very supported and they would do anything they could to help. I felt my Mum had been looked after with the respect and care she deserved. The day of the funeral we were greeted with kindness and everything went as we hoped. Thank you.

Knowing that my father was approaching death, I managed to visit several funeral directors in the local area in advance. I got the best impression from T. Allen in Rochester. Whilst events meant that I had made no arrangement with them by the time it happened, upon my father’s death late into an evening, their out of hours staff were very accommodating of my request for immediate removal. Collection of my father’s body was smooth, prompt, and well-mannered, making his last exit of his home of 46 years as dignified as possible. I was in touch with Ashlie and Michelle who manage the Rochester branch, and also happened to be in contact with the owner-directors; Helen dealt with an issue early-on very respectfully, and Mark attended for the removal and was the conductor for the funeral. It was a pleasure to deal with all of them. They took a sincere interest in the family circumstances and kept those in mind across the five weeks until the funeral. The team were considerate but clear on what was and wasn’t possible, and very accommodating of special requests; nothing was too much trouble. They were very responsive in communications, and flexible for my sister and I to visit around our schedules and at short notice. The Rochester branch maintains a pleasant environment for viewing, which isn’t tired, nor is the decor overbearing. On getting to know our personalities and wishes, they sourced a life celebrant from their panel who suited our family very well. The team clearly work well together, and they manage to balance running a business with being compassionate rather well.

Thank you very much for guiding us smoothly through the process of organizing our dad’s funeral.  Your calmness and kind manner at all times was so soothing in our sadness.  We totally appreciated that you could organize everything for us as we wouldn’t have known where to start.  It also helped that you were familiar with working with Dad’s Priest and Church.  Everything went perfectly on the day.  The gentlemen escorting Dad were quietly and respectfully there for all us and what a lovely touch that all the ladies in the office paid their respects as Dad went past on his last journey.  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.  Therese, Noël, Cathy and Matt
