Waters & Sons Independent Funeral Directors Ltd is a family run funeral directors in Aldermoor, serving bereaved families with compassionate and personal support in their time of need.
They offer a range of traditional coffins and caskets, but also provide personalised coffins, with imagery of your choosing, alongside eco-friendly alternatives such as willow, wicker and bamboo.
Their fleet of comfortable funeral vehicles includes a traditional Ford Cardinal hearse and two Ford Dorchester limousines which can comfortably seat up to six people. However they can also provide options such as a silver Mercedes hearse, limousines, a horse and carriage, and a motorcycle hearse for something a bit different.

I cannot praise David and the team enough for the beautiful send off for my Brother.David was so proffessional,caring,sympathetic and compassionate,the added little touches made the day so special,he took so much stress away from me and the whole experience from start to finish went perfectly.I have unfortunately had many family members pass recently and nothing compares to the sevice I received from Waters and Son.If you want a stress free funeral for a loved one with the upmost care and compassion this is the place to go.Thank you David and team so very much.

I walked in not knowing where to start David was very understanding and sat me down . He went through everything step by step which was perfect . From start to finish he was kind ,caring and compassionate towards myself and my step dad ( who passed ) . The funeral service was perfect too all the staff and the horses were amazing taking my step dad on his final journey . I cannot thank the team and David enough for all the support and compassion they gave me and my family , thank you all so much . I will be planning my funeral with waters and sons knowing the care they gave my step dad was perfect .

David & his family had the up most respect for my husbands funeral they dealt with everything with such kindness, nothing was any trouble literally took all the stress from the family , even contacted my husbands local pub to let them know they will pass by and David walked for 2 mins so his good friends could pay there respects , we didn’t even David had done this for us , Thank you so much David and to all your family. I did have a few problems i went back up many times to sort things out flower was round the wrong way on Greg's coffin but David was on it straight away and put them where I wanted them David was brilliant and martin a couple of mistakes but maybe that was my fault .

From my first meeting with Charlie through to the actual day, I have nothing but praise for the kindness shown to me and my daughters. Nothing was too much trouble. My request for a silver hearse and for the pall bearers to wear blue ties was carried out perfectly, and she accommodated my daughters phobia of coffins without question. Charlie was available to contact whenever necessary, and kept checking that I was okay and happy with proceedings. She made a difficult situation so much easier and I will be forever grateful. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this company. Thank you all.

Hello to everyone at Waters and Sons. You have all been amazing from start to finish for the funeral of our beloved mum Betty. You were there for our every need and I really felt you cared about mum and giving her the best send off possible, so thank you so much. I will speak of you all highly to everyone. Even collecting mum from the care home when she first passed away, you were there so quickly and by our side through the whole process which helped with the pain and stress of mum passing so suddenly.
