The care and thoughtful guidance we received from Dionne and Kerry was second to none.

The beautifully decorated lounge provided a calm and relaxed atmosphere in which arrangements could be discussed in a highly supportive way.

We were given all the time we needed to consider choices and make decisions.

Dionne and Kerry were not only highly efficient and professional in all aspects but kind in their approach offering a warm and personalised service.

Lisa was the perfect Celebrant, she listened to us carefully and presented a real reflection of the life of the person we had come to celebrate.

Having recently suffered three bereavements within our immediate family, we have worked quite closely with Waters and Sons, particularly with Dionne, since the end of September last year.

The service that they, and she in particular, provided as been exceptional. They have been kind, compassionate, and understanding when things have taken a minute to sort, as well as highly communicative, informative, and professional.

This has been the worst time in all of our lives, and the only thing I can say is that if anyone has to go through anything similar then I hope they are able to use Waters and Sons or at least find somewhere with the same level of support that we have been offered.

We will always be incredibly grateful to Dionne and everyone else at Waters and Sons - I can't speak highly enough of the service they provided which was above and beyond our expectations. Thank you again, from all of us. F, K (and S).

I would certainly recommend this funeral service from the moment my Mum passed away , Dion was excellent nothing was too much trouble ensuring along the way I was kept informed . Dion was caring and compassionate with the grief I was feeling and always made sure she had time to listen. The funeral was carried out to my expectations with dignity and kindness. Dion is certainly an asset and you would have to go a long way to find a more caring and professional lady.

Very friendly and efficient service. From the moment they came to our house there service was extremely impressive, David was very caring and sensitive to our situation . On visiting the Portchester office we were seen by Dionne Porter who immediately put our minds at rest, and carried out our wishes, professionally and with empathy . I used Waters & Sons Portchester office to arrange my Dad’s funeral. This was all done over the phone because we live in another part of the country. I cannot fault them at all, the girls in the office sorted everything out for us, they kept me informed of everything and the team on the day of the funeral were helpful, polite and extremely professional, I thoroughly recommend them, 1st class service.

Chose Waters & Sons Portchester after my wife asked for me to find a local independent funeral director. As soon as i met Tracie,  I knew I had found the right person.
It is such a difficult time with so much going on. Tracie and Simon were amazing and took all the stress and pressure away. They are truly amazing people (Professional yet personable, Respectful, Understanding, Calming.....) Everything was arranged in manner that was true to my wife's personality.
I cannot speak highly enough of how they handled everything when i was very broken.
Please please keep doing what you do. People like me need people like you at such difficult times.

The team were very kind in assisting us to arrange Mum’s funeral, the admin team talked us through each aspect and did everything they could to assist us make decisions.  All went to plan on the day and once again they were very professional and caring.  I felt that Mum was treated with respect and I trusted their advice.
