Portchester Funeralcare were so quick in contacting me back when I first started looking for Funeral Directors and were so incredibly helpful and informative in guiding my family and I through the process, as it's really disorienting on where to begin once a loved one passes away. But at short notice, they ensured that a lovely, simple and dignified service was arranged.

They helped arrange the flowers, printing the order of service booklets at short notice, which were so beautifully made and liaised with the crematorium and independent celebrant to make the already emotionally-filled day, one less stress to worry about. The funeral director (Lorna) present on the day also made sure to talk my family and I about the stages of the service, which was so incredibly supportive.

A huge thank you to Penny and Lorna for helping us through this difficult time. Penny was so incredibly supportive, professional and patient - I really cannot thank you enough for everything that you've done.

A difficult time but made easier with the professionalism of the team. I was given time to make decisions and every question answered (sometimes more than once. It didn't away go in the first time) Even problems nothing to do with the funeral were smooth away by good advise and experience. The funeral day went very well and I felt we gave our dad a worthy send off. Thank you

We were given a friendly and caring welcome when we first attended Porchester Funeralcare. Everyone went out of their way to help us get through this sad occasion with no problems. Everything was organised immaculately and I must thank Tony Course for his help, amongst other things the help he gave in organising the photos for the service.

From start to finish, every one involved with the care of my mum was first class. Through a very difficult time, nothing was too much trouble, and every little detail was dealt with in a very kind and loving way. It was a beautiful funeral, with lovely comments from all who attended, saying they really felt they knew my mum and it was a lovely send off for her.
