Fareham Funeralcare, New Gate Lane Industrial Estate

I couldn't have been more upset by the way the planned funeral of my mother was handled by the Newgate Lane branch of Coop Funeralcare. I was told I would be offered three possible funeral dates, but was then offered three dates within the week I had expressly stipulated the funeral could not be held, as I was out of the country. I was then offered one date and time, and told if we couldn't do that date, we would have to pay more to upgrade to the next level of funeral.
Not only was this against what I had been originally told, but I found it very upsetting and coercive. Not at all a caring service. Needless to say I went to a different funeral director, who were much more straightforward and genuine.

Tony & Andy (Newgate Lane) went above & beyond with arranging my mums funeral, nothing was to much trouble to them.   The help, support & listening ear was very much appreciated.  The day went perfectly & everyone commented about what a lovely service.  Thank you x

Funeralcare did a great job, the staff helped me through process of organising the funeral. The funeral went as planned and the attendees were positive about the whole event; great result and stress levels were kept to a minimum through Funeralcare assistance.

I was extremely impressed. Tony was a great help and made the process go smoothly.
I was apprehensive, as it was the first death I had dealt with, but I had no worries at any stage. I felt well supported and cared for throughout.
I would strongly recommend Fareham co-op funeral care.

Tony was lovely. His care & compassion is a credit to him & the co-op. 
Nothing was too much trouble & we were communicated with throughout the whole journey. This made the whole process seamless & a bearable.

With being a stressful time with losing my dad .
Coop funeral care in Newgate Lane Fareham was so supported and helpful.
Nick who we saw took care of everything and evening sorted a Royal Marine Buglar as my dad was ex navy.
Can't thank them for everything Nick and team did for me to make it a remarkable day.
I with doubt with recommend there service to anyone looking for a service with ishigh .

At a time when my head was all over the place I can honestly say I could not have chosen a better funeral director than the co-op in Fareham .my thanks and appreciation goes to the whole team that dealt with my husbands funeral and I would like to thank each and everyone of them Nick Who took charge was exceptional . From picking my husband up at home to the day of the actual funeral was absolute faultless extremely professional and courteous . It is fair to say that in this particular line of business you would expect it to be of the highest standard but of course we do not always get that but this team Really was of the highest standard and made an exceptionally sad day bearable. Many many thanks and gratitude to the whole team at the co-op Fareham Hampshire I could not have got through that day without them🥲🥲 you really were the dream team

Really happy with the service we received from both Tara and Tony in arranging my Mum's funeral, and with Nick and the team on the day itself. Everything was handled sensitively and with care and everyone was warm and friendly.
