We were really impressed with the high level of service from Florence as she guided us through the preparation for Mum's funeral in a very professional manner. Nothing was too much trouble and she kept us informed by phone and email every step of the way. We were also able to contact her easily to discuss any queries and she always reassured us.
Peter was very warm and friendly but extremely professional making us feel relaxed and at ease. On the day of the funeral Peter ensured everything went according to plan and kept us informed throughout.
Leah our driver on the day was also cast from the same mould as her colleagues kind, competent and professional. We would have no hesitation in recommending The Heatons (Co-op Funeral Care ) to anyone requiring a first rate service.

We couldn’t have wished for better funeral care, our dad was looked after amazingly by Michaela and Peter, their care and attention towards him was outstanding and the care towards my husband and especially me was pure brilliance.

All the staff at the Heatons were very kind and helpful. I hadn't organised a funeral before and they helped me with what was required and expected, such as telling me what the order of service should contain. Shirley read the eulogy with sympathy and a touch of humour in the right places.

When first introduced to Peter, Florence and Michaela, I knew we were in safe hands. Always professional, organised and respectful. They were very clear about the whole process and timeframe, whilst never rushing our decisions and answering our many questions patiently. Also they were culturally sensitive about requirements based on our Hindu faith. From the very first meeting, right up to the moment we said goodbye to my father at the crematorium, we had a team of people guide and support us throughout this difficult time with care and compassion.

Heatons Funeral Care were really good when my mum sadly passed away. They were professional and nothing was too much trouble. The funeral was organised exactly as we requested and there were no hitches. The celebrant suggested was excellent and conducted the funeral really sympathetically.

When I managed to talk with staff you were all great, but hard to get hold of you, did not get responses to leaving messages or emailing. 
Getting the service programme right took ages and was stressful and hard work. I’ve still not been contacted to know if you have mums ashes yet ( I was told you’d let me know) 
Great that you are LGBT friendly but I think you don’t have enough staff to offer excellent service. You also delete info after an enquiry too quickly as it was upsetting to have to give all my info twice because you deleted my details due to delay with the coroner.

Losing my Mum suddenly was such a shock. Co op Funeral services could not have provided a better service. Staff were very knowledgeable, sensitive and helpful and helped me get through the trauma of giving my Mum the service that she deserved. I would definitely recommend them and would like to say thank you for your great service 👏
