We were extremely happy with the entire process right from the notification of our mother’s passing, through the planning stage and everything on the day of the funeral.  All the staff impressed us with their sensitivity and kindness, nothing was too much trouble.

What initially started out as a positive service quickly turned out unacceptable. If you are planning a direct cremation then avoid as the service was lacking. Delays in cremation, incorrect written information about cremation dates given, bill put in bag with ashes and no apology from branch staff about upsetting service.

Much trouble from the first point of contact Florence was excellent super helpful and always there to answer questions then on the actual day the coffin bearers ( sorry I can’t remember all their names) were fantastic and kept speaking and telling me where I needed to be and what I needed to do

Michela and her team are excellent.  Given that I have had to arrange 7 funerals over a very short period of time, they have each and every time surpassed my expectations!

The team, especially Michela and Flo go above and beyond in prepping the funeral.

On the actual day, James handles everything and takes the stress away from family members and he ensures all is done in a respectful and very professional manner.
Peter is also excellent and is very personable and easy to deal with and again, also goes above and beyond and also has good humour when required which is unusual for funeral directors.  He puts you at ease!


The whole process from start to finish is by far the best I have encountered and I would highy
recommend them and have done already to family and friends.

The Heatons Funeralcare provided an amazing service from start to finish. They explain everything really well and have the knowledge to answer any questions. The staff are so friendly and thoughtful, by the end of the process they are practically family. They make a really difficult time a lot easier. They think of everything for you, I never had time to worry but I didn't need to because The Heatons Funeralcare had my back constantly. I would recommend them wholeheartedly :)

Peter and Flo were very friendly and professional helping us to organise the best send off for Mum.  Communication throughout was great and when we went to see Mum in the chapel of rest all the family, including Mum, were shown the greatest respect.   The funeral itself was exactly what we wanted and ran very smoothly.
