This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

I came to Charles robbs for a few reasons. They are close to where I live and I used them for my grans funeral some years ago. However the most important reason for me was when I found Mary, a couple of years ago, collapsed outside Robbs. While I waited for an ambulance the night staff returned and helped Mary and myself. They took her inside and looked after her. Kelly even helped her to the toilet. I will always be grateful to her for that night. Caroline and Wendy provided warmth, understanding, a listening ear and personal touches throughout the time my daughter was in their care. They went out of their way to support my family and I. The celebrant who was recommended for our situation, Alex, was the perfect choice. Kelly doesn’t work at levenshulme branch anymore and works nights but she took over the funeral on the day for us. She made sure everything was perfect and listened to our wishes. Thank you for all your kindness and support. Julia
