Standard Simple Funeral

This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

I cannot thank Suzanne and Darren for all the care and support that they have shown to myself and my family. They helped to make our mums day a very special day. Suzanne has been so supportive and nothing has been too much trouble for her. We had an issue with the death certificate and she was ringing around sorting things for us so that we could still go ahead with the planned date for our mums funeral. I would like to personally say they are both an asset to your company

Having first met with Suzanne who made us feel very comfortable taking us through the arrangements that we wanted. We felt happy with what we had decided. On the day however, we changed our minds on small but important details. Without any hesitancy Darren instigated them as if they had been in the plan all along. Thus making a difficult day a better send off than originally planned.

From the moment i rang up and made the first initial call i felt so well looked after. Nothing was ever too much trouble for the lovely Suzanne. I was treated with such care, compassion and respect on every visit. It gave me great comfort knowing how much care from Suzanne and the team went into arranging my dad's funeral. We met with Suzanne She was lovely and welcoming, My mum had already giving some instructions to what she would like to happen. We are a large family of 9 and had various questions and wanted reassurance's Suzanne listened and answered all our queries put our mind at rest gave advice in a respectful and sympathetic manner. When i phoned for advice about floral tributes and requests from my brothers again she dealt with it in a very calm professional manner. Called me back as promised.
