Standard Simple Funeral

This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

The staff were lovely i was so upset they listened and helped me through a difficult time loosing my mum my dad had only just died 8 months before so i was really upset loosing both parents we were a very close family thank you for helping me through this difficult time

What an amazing compassionate team. Everything was perfect and I cannot rate the whole team highly enough. Rianne our funeral director is absolutely phenomenal at her job, from the moment we met her she just made us feel safe and reassured that my gran was in very good hands. Communication was brilliant with all team members and I felt that we were looked after every step of the way and some!

I cannot praise the service I received highly enough. All staff were caring and guided me through the process. Nothing was too much trouble even when I changed the order of the music the day before the funeral. Everything I needed was taken care of without worry of having missed something.
