Staff went above and beyond to ensure that all our wishes were met, they were easy to talk to about our concerns and put our mind at ease.  We have returned to the COOP Farnworth for the funeral of our Dad for this very reason on the last occasion when they dealt with my Mum. They are caring, and committed to not only the deceased but the family members who are in shock and grief and eased us through the process.
Special mention for Amanda, Louise and Reanne.

They don’t organise anything that they say they will. No contact made with the church by the Coop.The funeral was delayed over a week because Sharon didn’t return phone calls  three days in a row. They attempted to add £300 to the bill for minister fees and then lied to us. Stay well clear.

Rianne, was very professional and helped our family through a very upsetting time when our mother passed away, so we can't thank her enough, the service was lovely and helped everyone there say their goodbyes.

Sharon in Farnworth was excellent from the day we initially contacted her until the day of my mums funeral. She was so caring and compassionate about everything. Rianne was absolutely brilliant she was compassionate held our metaphorical hand throughout the whole process and was there whenever we had any questions.

Due to Christmas and New Year bank holidays, there was some delay to transferring my husband from the morgue at MRI to coop funeral home  but staff at Farnworth kept in touch keeping us up to date with what was happening. Amanda very supportive and reassuring whenever we needed to contact. Would recommend.

We were very pleased with the way we were treated at the funeral parlour. They were very considerate and patient with us. I know this is how they are with everyone but it is much appreciated.  We ordered a autumn posy which wasn’t on the coffin but the summer one was beautiful so it didn’t matter. The service at Overdale went just as we wanted, so all in all we are very happy. Thank you all.

Overall we were really pleased with your service. However, we felt that communication could be better as it was at times difficult to get through on the telephone. One thing that would have helped greatly would be on line updates via a web link of the funeral details that family could access.
