Standard Simple Funeral

This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

Excellent service from undertakers to Lorraine and Robert who were very caring. All staff were friendly and kept us up to date by phone about all funeral arrangements, viewing arrangements. Etc. Thank you.

Lorrain has been a very friendly and helpful voice when we have been trying to deal with a very distressing situation. She has helped and guided me through the process which would have been so difficult for me otherwise. My wife and I would like to thank Lorrain for being so understanding and helpful. Everything was very sensitivly and competently handled for my elderly mother's funeral by the Co-op in Govan. This wasn't the closest Co-op funeral care office to us, but circumstances sent us to Govan. Everything turned out exactly as we wished, so, in the end, I'm glad the Govan branch handled the arrangements.
