Unfortunately I had to arrange my dads funeral all on my own which was quite daunting and Baillieston coop were so helpful and kind and made everything so simple for me. Everything was absolutely perfect for my dads final farewell . Thank you so much to Rose and Derek for making the day so special x

Rose was the First Lady I saw when I went to the funeral place in Baillieston.
I was  very nervous about my mother and shattered,  That mum passed away, I have had to do most family funerals in the past few years, but my mums  was really hard as mum passed away with a broken heart from when my younger brother‘Mark’ Passed before mum,
I have never seen my mum suffer so much in my life.
I convinced myself that my mum was still with me ‘Alive’
Because the funeral hadn’t taken place yet .
Rose would phone me week after week ,but I didn’t exactly explain to Rose about my situation and still haven’t .
So 8 months later had passed and I knew that I was being unfair to the rest of my family and using  every excuse I could think of to say why my mum wasn’t put to rest.
Liz called me Monday last week to say that mum  is going to get cremated last Monday .
I was happy and sad but Rose did for me that I couldn’t do for myself.
I remember saying to Rose ‘that you must think that I am a terrible person ‘
Not at all She said Paul I don’t think that at all 
WhAt a kind and beautiful lady she is and always will be in my thoughts and prayers for the way she handled my loss from start to finish you’s are the best in my books and always in my prayers  lost of love and respect Paul McCowan ..

Overall extremely high standard service. The only complaint was the body bag used to remove my mothers body was dirty and grubby. This brought my family distress.

I must say that Derek Smith at Baillieston Funeral care was extremely professional, supportive and super efficient. I was on my my own at the time dealing with Mum’s  arrangements and the support I received throughout was caring and sensitive. It was all handled from start to finish by Derek who went above and beyond his call of duty . He guided me through the whole process, including contacting the registrar and Benadette at Battlefield Funeral care for Mum’s viewing, where she had stayed for the last 10 years . I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Coop Funeral care to anyone . From start to finish it was “exemplary” 
He is an absolute credit to the Coop Funeral care and made such a difficult and sad experience a little easier with his expertise.

Rose was very helpful and talked us through everything that was about to take place on a daily basis.Also but our minds at ease regarding getting death certificate on time for funeral to go ahead.Gerry who dealt with us in regards to managing the funeral cars and Pallbearers etc; was also extremely helpful. Overall experience in difficult circumstances was good and helpful.
