I just wanted to say a big thank you to Debbie for looking after me during the process of organising my Dad’s funeral. Her kind words and support was much needed, as I was dealing with everything on my own, and coping with my seriously ill mother at the same time. She gently advised of the choices that were available, and that there wasn’t any pressure to make decisions quickly.


I also wanted to thank Simon for subtly guiding me through what I needed to do on the day. I appreciated everything he did, and the little touches made a huge difference. For example, asking me if I would like a flower from the floral tribute – that was very thoughtful!

Finally, I wish to thank all the other staff that work behind the scenes, they also contributed to making the day run smoothly.

Sensitive and understanding- They do their own printing so I could change the eulogy right up to the day before the funeral. All in all I felt there was always somebody to support me.

Stibbards provided an excellent service from the initial planning stage to the funeral itself- no request was too much trouble and we always felt supported.
Debbie was kind, empathetic and very patient dealing with our family at such a distressing time.
We truly felt the burden of arranging the funeral was lifted, allowing us time to grieve and reflect.

We were returning very satisfied customers for my mother’s funeral, sadly less than a year after my father. Once again, Debbie was kind, supportive and accommodating. I always felt there was plenty of time and when we needed to vary our requirements, the changes were made quickly and efficiently. She was very clear about costs at our first meeting and supplied a detailed breakdown of these in writing. I received clear emails with all the details and links I needed and a phone call 2 days before the funeral both to confirm plans and to check there were no issues still to solve. On the day everything went smoothly and we were supported and organised thoughtfully and competently. I haven’t collected mum’s ashes yet, but know from my dad that this was arranged flexibly and, consistently with Stibbards attention to detail, they were handed over with the usual box in a soft fabric bag. A big thank you to everyone involved.
