Porteous Funeral Directors could not have been more attentive, visiting me on several occasions at home to go over the unusual and highly personal arrangements I wanted to make for my wife's funeral, besides making regular phone contact to check on details, being flexible and adaptable and making doubly sure at every step that the funeral ceremony would go smoothly exactly as planned by me and my family. Mark Porteous, his son, Grant, and their staff were unfailingly kind, considerate and friendly. I cannot imagine anyone doing things better. The funeral ran without a hitch despite the complexities of having eight family members involved in the ceremony, plus a video, live music, recorded music and a 50 photo slide show. Nothing fazed Mark and his colleagues who cheerfully found a way around all potential difficulties. As far as I'm concerned, no praise is high enough.
