From our first contact with the Dorchester team,  they made my Dads final journey as good as it could be.  Their attention to detail was amazing,  they ensured  all aspects of the funeral were tailored to Dad and the family.  nothing was too much trouble.

Our family was extremely happy with the respect, care and attention given to our Dad and the family throughout the process. Guidance and information was initially provided by Hayley who was also our funeral director on the day. She was warm and reassuring at a difficult time. Lara then took over the booking procedure giving us time and support with our wishes for Dad and producing the Order of Service - ensuring that all photos and details were correct. The provision of 2 out of hours visits to the chapel of rest were very important for us. Thank you once again, Hayley. On the day itself everything went according to plan and the attention to the details we had requested were all in place allowing us the peace of mind to leave everything to Hayley and her lovely team. Our celebrant Esther was kind and spent considerable time with us to really find out about Dad. She managed to capture him perfectly in her delivery of the eulogy too.

The only thing that prevents us giving an excellent rating overall was the early frustrations of the closed office in Dorchester and the diversion of phone calls to the call centre in Manchester, where waiting times were long and, of course, there was no ability for the staff there to help us apart from taking messages. We appreciated that this might happen during the Christmas break but there were other occasions in the week before Christmas that this occurred. Having said that it really helped when someone from the nearby Weymouth office called us back and everything was dealt with by the team to our satisfaction in time. At a time of such upset for families the availability of a local and personal service cannot be overstated.

Thank you very much to all the team at Co-Operative Funeral Care in Dorchester. You gave us a moving and memorable celebration of our Dad's life.

Lara and Hayley were wonderful. They led me through the whole process and helped to make a very difficult time so much easier. They listened to, and acted on all of my requests as well as recommending the perfect celebrant for the day. It was as perfect as these things can be and I lost count of the number of people who commented on what a lovely service it was. I know my husband would have approved. I would not hesitate in recommending Coop Funeralcare.

From the time of notifying Co-Op funeral care of the passing of my mother, everything went as smoothly as possible. The meeting to arrange the funeral was met with compassion and nothing was too much trouble. Everything was made so much easier as a funeral care plan was in place.
I was kept up to date with the arrangements either by email or phone on a regular basis.
I was contacted the day before the funeral and informed of what was to be expected. The day of the funeral was made so much easier to cope with by the presence of a Co-Op representative who ensured that as a family we were happy with the timing of what was to take place and if any questions were needed then they would be close to hand.

Lara at Co-op funeral care Dorchester was so respectful and caring to our family and made a very painful time a little easier. With all the help that was given from everyone involved at the Co-op I was able to give my beloved husband the funeral he wanted.
