Prior to the funeral, Ray, Tristan and the team were quick to reply to all our enquiries, and given we had to make numerous changes to our plans, these were well accommodated and helped us to achieve the best send off possible, including needing to delay the date beyond normal time frames to allow for family members further afield to also attend. On the day itself, everything went as planned, they conducted themselves and the funeral procession in a dignified and very respectful way. They communicated with us at all stages, and reassured us at every point that they were looking after everything. The only issue which occurred on the day was a problem with the live stream, which despite excellent planning on their behalf, the internet connection in the church meant viewers weren't able to watch the whole funeral. This had been a last minute request from us, and we were very grateful it had been possible to set up, but for future funerals it may need further exploration. Following the funeral, they were able to meet our request for a prompt bill (the next day) as our travel needs meant we needed this swiftly. This was no issue for the team, who met with us at opening time the next day with all required documents ready to go, further easing the process. Our sincere thanks to the team for such a respectful send off to our dear family member.

From our first meeting the staff at SJ Backwell were kind, compassionate and professional. They carried out all our wishes, and offered support if and when we needed it.. A great team, they made a difficult time easier.
