At a very sad time, W J Beswetherick and Son’s dedicated team aim to provide an understanding and helpful funeral service, that fulfils your loved one’s funeral wishes.

Located in the heart of the city in a bright and contemporary space, W J Beswetherick and Son is a family-run funeral home that has served Truro and the surrounding area for almost 60 years.

Cindy Pennycook and her supportive team help bereaved families in Truro through the process of arranging a loved one’s funeral, and are there to listen to their individual needs.

As an independent funeral home, every funeral is tailored according to request. W J Beswetherick and Son aims to ensure that bereaved families choose the services most important to them.

The focus is on tailor-made funerals, not packages, to ensure bereaved families need only consider exactly what they want – from a traditional funeral, to green burial, or direct cremation service. The team is happy to provide free, no obligation quotations, and, as an independent funeral director, its prices reflect lower costs.

This funeral home has its own chapel of rest and free onsite parking for families. It is also happy to support families who live further away, and make funeral arrangements via email or post. W J Beswetherick and Son can help arrange for a loved one to be repatriated for their funeral.

With a hearse and limousine available, W J Beswetherick and Son can help organise special funeral transport, including traditional horse and carriage, motorcycle hearse or VW Camper Van.

The Truro funeral home is a member of the National Association of Funeral Directors and also the British Institute of Funeral Directors. It is a nominated funeral director for the majority of funeral plan companies and also offers Golden Charter funeral plans.
