David was very kind, and not at all pushy with services. He went out of his way to help us even though the crematorium was further than they normally go to. I actually couldn't ask for a more respectful funeral director. Thank you David

I would like to say how absolutely wonderful that the service we received from everyone at the co-op funeral care Devonport Plymouth was . Courtney was a lovely young lady who rang me on a weekly basis to see if I needed any help was especially a comfort for me and it was a very kind gesture.
Paul Whitell who took the service for my aunty was also a wonderful man who gave us the perfect farewell for her.

I had used the COOP before with my mum, and their service was excellent. Very understanding and communication were brilliant. Am now considering using them for when I set a plan for myself for in the future.

Courtney and David have been excellent. They handled mums funeral in December 2020 , at the height of covid, so we knew how professional and compassionate they were. They give an excellent service in very sad circumstances.

The staff David , Courtney were the best. They were there all the way through if we needed them. Would highly recommend them. Also Charles who was at the office when we viewed our loved one was very welcoming and friendly also.  
The day of the funeral everything was perfect the funeral staff were really friendly and catered perfectly for our sad day. 
Paul gave an unbelievably personal service and would highly recommend him to anyone also. 
Overall  20 out of 10 for grans  funeral from start to finish. 
You all do amazingly.

This should have been
4 1/2 star review but half stars weren't an option
. . Polite , attentive ,helpful and sympathetic . Obviously these are prerequisites to be running this type of establishment . I was at all times kept informed of what was and what was going to happen . David and Courtney a credit to their employer .
Only one fly in the
ointment , which was that there was some confusion as to whether I should have contacted the registrar or the other way around . I don't know who was at fault here , whether it was the registrar for not keeping
Co-operative Funeral Services informed of changes at their end or that the Co-operative had not updated their records . Either way it cost the
Co-operative a star and me a week delay . Yes I would definitely recommend Co-operative Funeral Services to friends , family and acquaintances

Dave and his team at Co-op Funeral services at Devonport were very professional, caring and compassionate. Their attention to detail was superb. The funeral went smoothly and we could not fault their cooperation on all aspects.
