We cannot  thank the staff enough for their consideration, care and empathy while dealing with us preparing for Steve’s wife and our sister’s funeral. I never realised how difficult it would be to organise a funeral but everyone helped to make it a celebration of Maureen’s life. We are indebted to you all.

Joe Guest was kind, gentle, respectful and reassuring. He kept in touch throughout and helped everything run smoothly and efficiently and in accordance with our wishes. His team were great on thee day: on time, respectful and helpful. Kayleigh at Yarm funeral parlour was excellently efficient, thorough, kind and helpful, with a genuine care for the individual: for family and for Roger. She treated him and spoke of him with respect, dignity and kindness. We are grateful for everyone's kindness and making the difficult process as smooth and gentle as possible. Thank you.

The care and reverence taken with Joan's funeral arrangements were of considerable comfort to all the family. The Director, and all the other staff we met were able to convey the options and necesseties required, with respect.

We all feel that this was an extremely important part of seeing Joan, quietly, into the next world.

We all thank the bearers too, and we were much moved each time they bowed to mums coffin when they were required to move it. Thank you again.

My Mum was passed around like pass the parcel. I never knew if I was dealing with Coop Yarm, Coop Middlesborough or Kirkleathem. Documents were lost in the post (not your fault). And to cap.it all, I still don't know whether her cremation was carried out on New Year's Eve. No confirmation or condolence pack.
