Standard Simple Funeral

This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

I would absolutely recommend the cooperative funeral services. They were fantastic from start to finish, especially during this difficult time. Toni was our funeral director and was fantastic. She really captured my Dad’s personality. Once Dad was available to visit in the chapel of rest, they did an outstanding job at making my Dad look how we wanted to remember him, he looked so handsome and smart and this would have really made my Dad proud! The cooperative funeral service really made a difficult time a lot easier and we as a family will always be thankful to them.

Hi, on the day every was perfect. Julie was amazing.
The only issue was unnecessary anxiety caused by uncertainty that we would be able to have our music choices. It worked out in the end. But it did cause some upset.

I first used your services six and a half years ago for the funeral of my brother in law, Lawrence, my sister Yvonne’s husband. I was extremely satisfied with your services then so it was only natural that I used your services again for my sister. I found the staff easy to talk to, they were very sympathetic and understanding especially Toni and they took everything on board immediately which helped my situation living so far away.
