This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

As a family we found that the services provided by The Co-op Funeral Care were excellent and it made planning a funeral very straight forward. We were given lots of options to choose from as well as lots of useful advice and support.

Office staff kept in touch with us and were very profressional and caring when we made the decision to visit Dad in the chapel of rest.

Excellent service from initial notification and engagement to after care. Customer service was friendly but professional and very sympathetic/sensitive to situation.
Highly recommend, no fuss - everything is thought of, which removes huge amount of stress in the most difficult of circumstances. Kirsty, Lynn and Blair are a credit to the company.

From the first contact, lead up to the actual Funeral and the receiving of Barrie's ashes the staff at Co-op Funeralcare were very caring and compassionate. They helped and guided me all the way through offering advice when I needed it. They certainly made a very sad time in my life less stressful. I thank them all from the bottom of my heart. They helped give Barrie a wonderful send off.
