About Us

The York Road premises includes a 60 seat service room, three rest rooms and two arranging rooms. All have been tastefully decorated to create a peaceful and respectful environment in which our dedicated team can look after our clients.

The Melville Morgan fleet is also housed at the York Road premises. Two Jaguar hearses and two Jaguar limousines provide families with an elegant escort for the funeral procession. Built in the UK, these limousines hold up to seven people comfortably and provide an opportunity for the family to compose themselves on the way to the committal.

Melville Morgan tailor every funeral to the needs and wishes of each family whether this is the selection of a coffin, music, readings or flowers, to name but a few parts of the funeral. Please speak to our team and discover how we can remove the burden from you and your family at a time of grief, leaving you all time to mourn and remember those special moments.

Melville Morgan also offer a pre-paid funeral plan, similarly tailored to your wishes, where your funds are placed in trust with two of the largest and most reputable companies in the UK, Ecclesiastical Insurance and Royal London. The most important items are those in the plan which will make it unique to you, such as the selection of hymns, readings or music, and will give your loved ones peace of mind knowing that their celebration of your life is one that you chose.

Contact us at any time of day, any day of the year to discover the care and integrity which our staff offer to all our clients.

How do you arrange a funeral?

You can arrange a funeral by choosing a funeral director who will help you organise all of the details. What are disbursements?
