About Us

Established in 1858 on Townsend Street in North Belfast, Melville Morgan is one of the longest serving funeral directors in Northern Ireland and maintains the traditions of dignity and respect which have underpinned the organisation’s longevity of service.

The Ballysillan Road premises includes a 50 seat service room, three rest rooms and an arranging room. All have been tastefully decorated to create a peaceful and respectful environment in which our dedicated team can look after our clients.

Comprising of Jaguar hearses and limousines, the Melville Morgan fleet provide families with an elegant escort for the funeral procession. Built in the UK, the limousines hold up to seven people comfortably and provide an opportunity for the family to compose themselves on the way to the

Melville Morgan tailor each funeral to the needs and wishes of each family whether this is the selection of a coffin, music, readings or flowers, to name but a few parts of the funeral. Please speak to our team and discover how we can remove the burden from you and your family at a time of

Melville Morgan also offer a pre-paid funeral plan, similarly tailored to your wishes, where the funds are placed in trust with two of the largest and most reputable companies in the UK, Ecclesiastical Insurance and Royal London. The most important items are those in the plan which will make it
unique to you, such as the selection of hymns, readings or music, and will give your loved ones peace of mind knowing that their celebration of your life is one that you chose.
