Standard Simple Funeral

This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

From first visit to arrange the funeral I was treated with dignity and empathy. Called to ensure all was in order and advise who would be in charge on the day followed by call from them. On the day everything went very smoothly. A lovely goodbye to my husband.

Christine at Cheshire was truly wonderful. She held our hand every step of the way. She kept intouch with me all the time and nothing was too much trouble for her. The little touches were lovely. Christine also took care of my step father George Clarke a few years ago and she really is the face of Cheshire funerals. All of the staff were wonderful too. Joe led the service he was fantastic
