From our first contact to our last meeting after the funeral we were treated with sympathy and sensitivity. The procedure was explained to us in detail, and all options given to us. The result was a funeral my son would have been totally happy with, as I was. No loss of a loved one is fun but Pettit's smooth organisation and sensitive approach made the funeral of my late wife as trouble-free and unstressful as possible, while maintaining the appropriate dignity of the occasion. Everything I had asked for was done perfectly and the tactful and friendly support of Pettit's staff at every stage ensured that a day I had dreaded turned out to be one remembered with gratitude.

I should add that the nearby florist suggested by Pettit's suppled the most magnificent floral tribute I have ever seen and are similarly to be highly recommended.

The service from the staff was excellent but I’ve only given it four stars because  there was not a facility for “in memory of” online payments. I think this is a service that should be offered, particularly in this current pandemic.
