Over the years we have always used Cowleys in Stony Stratford for funerals and been very happy with their professional, caring service.
However, we were a little disappointed with several things for Lynne's funeral.
From the start there were mistakes in communications eg. wrong dates for appointments, wrong address.
Also had several problems in putting together the order of service.
The funeral was a Co op funeral plan. We have not yet received a statement of how much was not used but paid for eg. Following limousine. Or receipts for some of the extras.
The staff were very friendly and kind and the funeral itself went well.

Everything was simple quick and easy. The surroundings were pleasant, everyone was kind helpful and friendly. The costing of the Direct Cremation was very reasonable. They all made  a difficult situation easier to bare.

Katie was enormously helpful in making sure that the issue between the surgery and the coroner's office was sorted and in keeping us informed. I am hugely grateful for her support and communication throughout the process. I appreciated Sian's warmth and kindness when she called the day before the funeral to check arrangements and on the actual day.

J S Cowley did a fabulous job thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You made a difficult day loosing our Mum a great send off for her. We had so many people say it was the best funeral they had been too. Angela and the team on the day were magnificent they helped and supported us. Nothing was too much trouble. I felt completely ' looked after' from day one .Everyone treated me with such compassion and helped me through arranging Mums funeral so well .The funeral itself went absolutely perfectly ..Mum would have been so proud and delighted that all her wishes were met..she couldn't have had a more lovely farewell Thank you to everyone and to the glue gun for keeping the rainbow firmly on the coffin.😀🌈
