The team in Yate are fabulous people, nothing was too much trouble, they listened to what we wanted, made many changes to the order of service & were supportive throughout the whole process. The celebrant they suggested was perfect, & we found out that he had worked closely with my daughter and son in law previously, so had a real understanding of us. He clicked! Everything was perfect. We had to organise a non-attendant funeral, met with Steph who was polite and very respectful of our wishes. She ensured that we knew when the cremation was taking place so we could have quiet time. She also informed us when Tony was back in their care.

The care ,support and attention we as a family were given while arrangements were made for Jerrys Funeral and taking care of him while he was in their care  was greatly appreciated. Steph,Alice made sure all our arrangements were carried  out as we had wished. Nikki made sure on the day it went as smooth as possible. Our greatful thanks also go to Alistair Henderson our Funeral Celebrant who gave a lovely eulogy. We all thank you so much on what has been a difficult time for us , Kind Regards Christine Milner.

This is the second funeral in as many months that the Co-Op have arranged for us. On both occasions Alice, Steph and Nikki have been efficient, friendly and very helpful. They made the experience simple and straightforward, and both funerals went off without a hitch. Thanks to everyone involved, we would have no hesitation in recommending Yate Co-Op Funeral Service.

Absolutely fantastic Alice at the (Yate) branch and the staff at the Bishopsworth branch have been absolutely fantastic in coordinating the family needs to arrange the funeral from two different locations 2nd to none, I would highly recommend them and assure you that all you need to be catered for.
Dave Williams, the celebrant was absolutely fantastic, friendly helpful and he’s a must in difficult times.

Staff all very helpful and understanding of our situation. 
The disappointing thing for us was the fact that, due to a ‘coffin makers strike’ we could not have the coffin we chose and we’re not really given any alternative options.
This resulted in me having to have a difficult conversation with my mum and could have been avoided if the information was known at the tie of our initial meeting.
A small thing, but it took the edge off what was otherwise a positive experience.

Apart from difficulty in telephoning Yate directly I received very efficient, kind care from the staff. As my Mother's death was totally unexpected I was in somewhat of a state but was treated with respect and great kindness by all concerned. I was kept informed of what was to happen and also arranged the ashes to be couriered to me.

I have also received follow up call from your bereavement and probate team which I very much appreciated. Many thanks
