Everything went amazingly in regards to service and funeral day only hiccup we endured was getting told two different stories about embalming and unfortunately unnecessary stress in relation to viewing/Chapel of rest due to staff issues.

1. As late as the Thursday prior to the funeral the Graphics Department were raising problems about the the picture for the front of the order of service.

2. As my sister died in Cambridge...I last saw her at Addenbrookes Hospital.

When I returned to my home I would have liked a gentle contact to confirm that she was in my locality at one of your chapels of rest.

I was however aware that your Hengrove branch had sickness problems.

Dad's funeral bond was with Southern Co-Op at first we thought that this would be a problem but it was overcome with one phone call and the funeral went ahead as planned. The staff were very helpful, polite and courteous and the day was how he had wished it to be, he did not want a hearse and this was accommodated for. The funeral was at the church and the crematorium but nothing was too much for the staff to cope with.

Compassionate, caring, friendly, warm so kind & respectful to mum ..it felt like she was warmly & lovingly cared for all the time she was in the Chapel of rest.. I honestly couldn't fault anyone they are a fantastic bunch of people xx

I cannot praise Lisa who looked after myself and my family enough. From the very first telephone call up until the funeral and beyond. She made a heart wrenching situation bearable and was an absolute pleasure to deal with.

We could not have asked for a better service. All the members of staff showed compassion and respect. Arranging a loved ones funeral is so emotional and something that no one wants to do however the guidance and support we received in every area of planning was greatly appreciated. Thank you to everyone involved in helping us to celebrate our mums life.
When the time comes to say goodbye to your loved one you could not be in safer hands. Thank you.
