I really cannot praise you people enough, for all your help and understanding particularly Toniann, and not forgetting Sophie who was so willing to help me time and time again and also Elizabeth at the Tilehurst branch. Also not forgetting Dean advising me the day before Serena's funeral and what a star on the day when he delayed commencement of the funeral for a short while to allow a family mourner to arrive. It was to no avail as that mourner was trapped in stationary traffic on the M4 for 1hr 20m which meant he sadly missed his sister's funeral. Thanks Dean for your help in that regard. Also a huge thank you to Trudi Yeatman who was just a wonderful Celebrant, kind, caring, understand-ing and compassionate.

Courier very pleasant, however ashes took longer than expected to arrive ie. Cremation on the 27th and ashes delivered on 20th July

I’m not in the habit of writing reviews, but on this occasion I feel I need to share our experience. Alistair Walker and his team took over my sisters arrangements after we were experiencing difficulties with  another provider.
The difference was immediately and obviously improved. Alastair instilled the confidence and care one would hope to receive during this difficult period. His constant communication and level of compassion and delicacy was felt throughout his service. This was greatly appreciated and needed. It was a pleasure working with Alastair and his guidance and pace was respectful and reassuring during this time.
Reflecting back, I’m so happy we had the opportunity to give my sister a service that was fitting and lead by the respectful Reading staff. His ability to listen, offer and execute such a service will help us all peacefully remember this day.
I would highly recommend this team and director.
Thanks again Alastair and team for your professional and   personal service.

At a difficult time when they were rushed off their feet they presented an authoritative and calm guiding hand throughout the arranging, and carrying out of Gill's funeral, allowing the mourners to focus on their response to the loss of their friend
