From the moment I contacted Scotmid the professionalism was excellent. Very respectful to the family but most importantly very respectful to the person that has passed. They made it a very easy process, especially in these difficult times. They carry out the wishes of the family too the letter and for this I am grateful.
I would certainly recommend them.

Excellent and very professional service, the whole team from start to finish could not have done more in this difficult time. The webcam allowed the extended family to watch (this included family In Australia & Canada) and should definitely be extended after lockdown is lifted.

I would like to single out Susan McGlame for special praise as she was the main point of contact and was a great comfort at such a difficult time.

We dealt with Candice for the arrangements and all was handled respectfully and professionally. Current Covid arrangements were explained and the plan was executed excellently by Christine and her team on the day. Our Dad was comforted and looked after as principal mourner at our Mum's funeral. A big thanks from the family.

My Dad and I received an excellent service from Susan and the team. It made arranging my Mums funeral a much less difficult experience than we imagined and everything was carried out to the highest standard. The organisation of my mother’s funeral was absolutely superb. From the moment I contacted Scotmid Funerals until the last mourner left the cemetery their professionalism  was supreme. They covered every detail in a relaxed and sympathetic manner and offered advice and guidance on every aspect. Everything was covered down to the last detail and what I thought would be a strenuous and difficult exercise turned out to be simplicity itself. Susan, whom I dealt with from the beginning, to Richard, who was the funeral director on the day of the burial, covered everything,and every eventuality, down to the smallest detail. This was Alpha plus service of the highest calibre. It was so good those who attended thanked me for putting on such a good show and I, of course, shamelessly took the credit when it really lies with the Scotmid team.  Thank you.

The staff did everything in their power fulfill our wishes to farewell our Mum. Everything was fone to the highest standard. The staff were lovely, polite and courteous making us feel at ease and able to cope with our grief at this difficult time. Susan is a wonderful, caring person, couldn't have asked for a better person to guide us through the process. Ian on the day was caring and respectful to our Mum and ourselves. Phillip who was unfortunately sick on the was kind and led us through process the day before. All in all would recommend this company to anyone.

The service we received was excellent especially Christine on  the day of the funeral. She made sure my mother was fully aware that she could make her own decisions and that everything would revolve around my mothers wants. Christine made us felt at ease during the day.

From start to finish our pain was taken away with the support and compassion you all showed us ,you dealt with things that we just couldn’t get our minds round ,we can’t thank your team enough for the professionalism and compassion during our loss of blair ,this was our second child that we’ve had to cremate and all the staff new our background ,showing love and super for us at all time ,,from picking the coffin to advising us on flowers and all the other details that w put in ourselves you showed us respect ,you gave us what we thought would be the hardest day of our lives to the most beautiful day of celebrations for blair ,we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts xx
