Morton Hall Crematorium
About Us
Morton Hall Crematorium is an impressive facility surrounded by stunning woodland ideal for your loved one's funeral. The crematorium in Edinburgh was designed by Sir Basil Spence and opened in 1967.
The main chapel is one of the largest in Scotland with seating for up to 360 people. It featured superb stained glass windows and a restored pipe organ provide a beautiful backdrop of light and sound.
Recent renovations have added improvements to the already impressive site. A waiting room with accessible toilet and a separate family room provides privacy and comfort while waiting for the service to begin. An HD webcast camera are available on request.
The Gardens of Remembrance at Morton Hall Crematorium contain a memorial walkway where you may choose a plaque with a flower vase as a marker. There is also a columbarium for urns and caskets.
