Hogben and Partis made a very stressful experience as bearable as it could be. All of the staff were helpful, thoughtful and kind.

Jack, Wendy and the team were professional and personable throughout. They handled my husband's passing with compassion and consideration from our initial contact on the evening of his death through to the collection of his ashes following his cremation. They treated our 12 year old with respect and helped make this difficult time easier by involving him throughout each step of the process. No request was too much and every step was taken to ensure that we had the funeral that we wanted, guided by very knowledgeable and thoughtful staff.
Myself and my son are extremely grateful to Hogben and Partis for all their support.

From the moment we started to arrange my mums funeral, up to the point where the limousine dropped us, the family, at the wake,   the staff were excellent.  Wendy and Tracy were caring, compassionate and very professional. Although we had not made an appointment, Tracy stayed late so she could help us to organise the funeral, showing compassion all throughout. The drivers to and back from the cremation were very professional and showed  empathy towards us. I would highly recommend this service.

I highly recommend Hogben & Partis.

The staff made a stressful and difficult time much easier. Wendy and Karen were always sympathetic, kind and patient and Jack and his team were extremely respectful and efficient and so the funeral went very smoothly.

Hogben and Partis did a very good job planning and carrying out my husband's funeral. Everything that they were asked to do was done immediately and with efficiency. The driver and staff on the day were well dressed, respectful and did their job efficiently and unobtrusively. Two points to improve : - I felt there could have been a lot more choice of coffins and it would have been good to be able to see them before choosing rather than just being shown one on a brochure. Also, at times the staff in the office had an inappropriately jolly manner which could be grating to a family in deep grief or tragedy.

All aspects of the planning and execution of the funeral were superb. Hogben and Partis took great care and showed real sympathy in discussions with the bereaved to ensure that their needs were catered for. It was satisfying that all arrangements were made by the funeral directors for a single fee covering all aspects before, during and after the ceremony.
In particular I would praise their pastoral care, which continues after the funeral for as long as the bereaved need it. And always they were, and are, kind and caring. Both literally and metaphorically they offer a shoulder to cry on whenever it is needed
