Chris, the funeral director, listened to our wishes and it was the perfect funeral for my sister. We wanted a nice simple funeral without all the fanfare, but didn’t want it so simple we couldn’t say our goodbyes. Chris also recommended a wonderful celebrant for the service. We aren’t religious people, the tone was exactly right for us.

From my first telephone conversation with Chris I felt a huge sense of comfort. Every detail was dealt with such compassion, reassurance and empathy. Chris went above and beyond and explained the whole process to us. Chris was always on the other end of the phone, I don’t think we even spoke to anyone else which made the whole experience with Freedom Funerals more personal and straight forward.
The Funeral was handled with great care with professional support throughout.

I know that it takes a very caring sort of person to do the job they do. And wow, they were definitely that. From my first interaction with Dan on the phone, to meeting him in person. He put me completely at ease at one of the hardest and saddest times of my life. I knew from that very first meeting that these were the people who I was going to entrust to look after my husband. Even when Chris returned from his holiday, the care and sincerity continued. Not only did they care for my husband's body with care and respect but as a family in great pain, we also were shown great care and respect. Everyone knows how expensive funerals are, but the prices at Freedom Funerals are very reasonably priced. They are very understanding of people's circumstances and offer a reasonable amount of time to settle the bill. I would be more than happy to recommend their services to anyone at such a sad time in any of our lives.

I couldn't of wished for better people we all were treated like royalty nothing was to much trouble and Dan was amazing there wasn't anything else he could of done never once did he rush us he rung to ask if we were OK and to tell me if there was anything he could help with I can tell Dan is such a wonderful person everything was perfect couldn't fault anything or anyone so pleased with everything Dan is a treasure

I had Freedom Funerals for my Dad's funeral 8+ years ago and knew, when my husband unexpectedly died, it would be Lee again for his funeral. He was a great support, guiding me through a difficult and emotional time, with warmth and empathy. Everything ran smoothly on the day and Lee had put us in touch with Roxanne Angelique Cawdron as our celebrant who beautifully delivered his eulogy. I can't recomend Lee enough. My father was a non religious man who hated fuss and let's just say had a lively sense of humour. From the outset Lee supported my desire to be non conventional. His costs were simple and easy to understand with no hidden extras. Additionally, there was additional sale on anything. Finally, the day went without a hitch. Couldn't ask for more.

We couldn't have found a more perfect way to send off our mum. Freedom Funerals is a small family company that go above and beyond to make this time the best it can be. Even with the direct cremation that our mum had requested, Lee gave us such personal service, along with his time to sit and chat to us and even make us laugh. We were able to provide clothing, flowers & notes to accompany our mum and were given the time of the cremation, which was a real comfort. Thank goodness we found you!
