Funeral Director
In loving memory of David George Mitchell, who sadly passed away on 10th April 2021.
He was a loving father, husband, son, brother and dear friend to so many.
Dave had the ability to make everyone feel welcome and never failed to brighten up a room with his warm personality and infectious chuckle. He was an incredibly talented man, full of wisdom and charm, and the love he had for his family and friends was immense.
Dave had an incredibly successful career with Rushcliffe Borough Council for over 30 years. He was highly respected by Councillors and colleagues but remembered most for his warmness and friendship at every level.
He was, without a doubt, the best dad anyone could wish for and we can’t even begin to imagine our life without him. There are no words to describe how much we will miss him, his thoughtful advice and his terrible dad jokes.
We love you, dad.
In remembrance of David's life, we ask that any charitable donations be made to Macmillan Cancer Support as a thank you for the love and compassion that they showed our family when we needed it most.

In loving Memory of Dave, our lovely, cuddly, caring, easy going, warm and supportive brother-in-law. Such a shocking and heart breaking loss. We will miss him and that infectious giggle so, so much.

I would never enter the Mitchell house without shouting to Dave and getting a rubbish joke in return. A truly caring host, taxi, second parent and terrible joke teller Dave will definitely be missed by many many people and specially by me. xx
