In loving memory of Joan Norah Robjant who sadly passed away on 11th December 2023.

Our Mum was a devoted, loving Wife, fun Nan, caring Sister and Auntie, was born in Rothehithe on the 13th of December 1930.

She was one of five children, her parents being the late Bridget and Dick Hurley, our grandparents. Back then times were hard, but she had good memories of family life growing up.

On January 22nd 1955 she married her soulmate and forever husband, Albert, they moved to New Cross and then Bromley with their two children.
She was very happy with family life, always being very caring and protective.
Then finally, her grandchild came along well, that was it, nothing else mattered. She always called him Babe.

Our Mum loved dressing up, having memories of those lethal stiletto heels back in the day.
She always enjoyed parties and family holidays not forgetting her love for the four Tims, our family Dogs.

Mum and Dad have made us into the people we are today and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

She was our world, and we were hers.
Love you forever mum,
Kim & Lorraine.

Such a sad loss of a lovely lady.
When Mum and I were neighbours to Lorraine and Colin, Mum looked forward to having the chance of chatting with Joan and Albert, especially Boxing Day evening. They talked well into the night.
God Bless you all on this sad day. You are in my heart and prayers. X

Today we sadly say goodbye to this beautiful. Joan was a warm lady that always made me feel welcome both in her life and in her home.
She taught me "never worry about the talcum powder (meaning dust both in the house and in life) you can easily blow it away.
I strongly believe she is now with her beloved Albert who was the other half of her.

Thank you for being you
Thank you for being my Aunt
I always loved to pop into your house when we all live down Churchdown Road
You were always a good listener to me as I was growing up
You would always give us endless cups of tea and try to tempt us with food.
(you were always a bit of a feeder)
You had a lovely personality, kind, caring and thoughtful You were also fiecely loyal to your family and friend.
You had your children slightly later in life. I think that made you love and value them more. If you felt your kids were being upset or bullied at shcool, you would be at the school gates. Being a good Mum was very important to you I think
I know wherever you are now you are happy with your Albert, Nanny, Grandad family and friends.I know you will make the most of everything there as you did in life
I am going to miss the twinkle in your eyes and your giggle xxx Jacquie & Mick
