Amelia Morse (18 Nov 1982 - 16 Dec 2023)

I’ve only just learned of this heartbreaking news, and my heart is truly shattered. Amelia and her radiant smile were among the few bright lights during some of my darkest years at Drama Centre, the intense and often overwhelming school we attended together. In a place where kindness was rare, she stood out as one of the few who showed me genuine warmth and compassion. She was truly a light.

I’m grateful that I had the chance to speak with her briefly in 2020. I will miss her deeply.

My thoughts and heartfelt prayers are with you - her family, friends, and all who carry her love and memory in their hearts.

I worked with Amelia for many years. Just found out this sad news now. Amelia lit up the room, changed lives, and radiated humour and positive energy. The world is far poorer for her absence. Here's to keeping those things she lived for alive. Humour. Performance. Light. Do not go gentle into the good night. Rest in peace, Amelia.

I’m shaken to the core on hearing the news of my friend, confidant and fellow kindred spirit Amelia. The fact that she protected me from such tragic news whilst I was going through Ill health emphasises what true friend she was and to me is the true definition of friendship is now forever linked with her name. Hope you’ve taken your place on the biggest and brightest stage because you truly deserve it.

So desperately sad to see this news. Had tried to call Morsey just this morning as I had a project she might be interested in. If anyone of her family are willing to reach out to let me know what happened and where I might be able to pay my condolences to her family and where she may have a memorial stone so I can say goodbye.
