In loving memory of Barry Adrian Gammon who sadly passed away on 28th September 2023. Forever loved and dearly missed by his adoring family and friends. Barry passed away peacefully in his sleep and finally feels no pain.

Barry leaves behind his loving wife Trina, passing away just one day prior to their 39th wedding anniversary. Recent years have been heartbreaking for Barry and the rest of the family as Trina received a dementia diagnosis. Barry took on the responsibility of sole carer, putting his wife’s needs before his own, despite his ill health. Making the difficult decision to place Trina into full time care last year was the catalyst for Barry’s decline, his heart was truly broken.

In happier times, Barry loved a holiday. He was a hard worker and lived for 1-2 weeks in the sun every year, loving nothing more than lying in the sun for hours on end crisping his skin up like a rotisserie chicken and having a few cold beers. He was also a tackle tart, needing to have all the best gear to maintain his fishing hobby despite often not catching anything.

A man of simple pleasures, he was quiet and reserved, and just wanted what was best for his family. His children; Melanie, Martin, Kellie, Zoe, Scott and Tania, along with their partners and children, will miss him dearly.

The funeral will take place on Wednesday 25th October at 1pm. Please wear whatever you feel comfortable in. Barry loved his stonewashed jeans and hated pomp and ceremony, just come as you are and have a beer to say goodbye. The family ask for charity donations instead of flowers.

Rest in peace brother, you will be so sadly missed.
Baz, Bazzle, Beryl as you would have been known by me, you and Bald. Although as families we never spent much time together but at the end of the day you were my big brother and we were always there for each other. Love you always xxx
